I was just using the theme viewer and in each example there is a link for Test Run. But it only brings up a sample WP site with the generic theme.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong or need to do to make the Test Run work?

Also, is there any easy way to tell if certain themes validate code-wise? Can I just run the test through the W3C validator?

    Your help appreciated, Kelly

Think there is a general problem in the test run system right now…

They have been working on the theme viewer for a few months now and until it’s is fully operational again I really wouldn’t get themes from there as they haven’t been updated in probably six months are more and won’t work with the newest version of WP. Probably the best thing to do is once you find a theme that looks good, visit the authors website and see if they’ve setup there own demo and downloads. I know I personally have.

Well, I am sure that test run has worked perfectly last weekend. And now it’s broken…

Wow, it must be very broken! Broken or unbroken, I’m sure it’s a huge PITA to have to administer.

I’m kind of relieved to read this, to tell you the truth – I submitted a theme via email and was ignored. I was afraid they thought my theme sucked! 🙁

It seems that the problem still stands. Apart from seeing the latest themes on the home page there is no way to go through and view them as we did in the past.
