Temporary Backup Directory

    I’m clueless here….whenever I try to run the backup, I get the following and I don’t know how to rectify:
    The backup failed to initialize: Unable to create the temporary backup directory

    The temporary backup directory () where the backup data is processed could not be created.
    If the below error is related to permissions, you may need to login to your website via FTP and create the folder yourself.
    Last PHP error: An error happened at: bootstrap.php(1526)
    mkdir(): Permission denied

    Hi dmaloney,

    Login to your FTP for you website and go to “wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/”
    You need to create a folder called “tmp” and give it permissions “0770”. If you still have problems, give it permissions, “0777” (last resort though).

    Then everything will start working.
