    Ok, I’m sure by now you all can see I’m VERY new to this…I was trying to add a stat counter to my blog template but it says that it’s not editable.

    Anyone know why?

    The file you want to edit has to be chmod to 777 before you can edit it. You can do that in your FTP program

    because they arent chmodded correctly – not writeable by you through the dashboard. You need to edit them directly in wp-content/themes/ – or chmod the theme directory and files 777

    Sorry, but I’m even newer to this than “golden”, or so it seems… What does “ch-mod” mean, and how do I do it? (I know nothing about programming, I’m afraid).
