Template Broken

I’m not sure if this is the right forum, but I hope it is. I’m new to wordpress. I installed a template yesterday and was playing around with it when the appearance suddenly changed.

This is what it’s supposed to look like, and did initially after I imported the example settings:

This is what it suddenly switched to, and is stuck at:

I have no idea what I did, but I obviously did something. I’ve tried uninstalling the template via FTP, the same with the Cherry framework/parent theme, and re-installing everything the same way I did before, I’ve done this a couple times. I did it via FTP because when I did it through my wordpress page it still left a folder that caused the re-installation to fail. I’ve tried playing with all the settings, changing one at a time to see if it makes a difference, and no luck there. I’ve tried re-importing the example settings. The appearance just won’t change back. I’m honestly just completely puzzled and really frustrated, if anyone can help with this problem it would be so great.
