Taking too long to install Type plugin | WordPress.org

I’ve been trying to install Type plugin for hours, but after the upload, it keeps “unpacking” for hours!

Without this plugin I cannot finish the edition of my new website (Sydney theme for WP). Please, could anyone help me?

OMG! I’m not familiar with FTP… is there another way?

It’s really not hard at all – and something you should know how to do anyway – will be necessary if your site ever has a serious problem.

Aside from that, that kind of problem will also likely require accessing your site files on the server anyway – or asking your hosting company for help – so may as well get the FTP set up and try that.
