I’m hoping someone can help. I have a website for my karate club which has had the theme slightly modified to be more custom. The only problem is that the tags do not work. Everything shows up fine but when you click on a tag at the bottom of an article it goes to a blog page with no articles. I have checked the tag.php file and it looks fine (exactly the same as a fresh install of the theme that works).

Please help. My URL is http://gkrkarateherts.co.uk/news

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do tags work with a freshly downloaded, unaltered version of your theme? I’d expect so, thus look carefully at the changes you made. If you did the right thing and altered the theme by creating a child theme, just activate the parent theme to test.

If you directly hacked the theme, change the name in the comment header of styles.css and rename the folder where the unchanged theme is installed.

If tags do not work with an unaltered theme, it’s likely a plugin conflict is causing the issue. Alternately deactivate each one until tags start working.
