TablePress SQL query with external database source

    Thank you for creating this very excellent and free TablePress plugin. I know this may be asking for too much but if TablePress could work with external database souce that would be great. That is, TablePress works directly with the data in table(s) in external database source via SQL query entered by the user. Adding, modifying and deleting the data in the tables in the external database source. A lot of WordPress tables plugins like WpDataTables, Data Tables Generator by Supsystic, Ninja Tables, etc., have such a feature although it is not free.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but at this time, I don’t have plans to add support for SQL queries, sorry.
