switching to php 5

    Folks;

    My hosting company is currently using php4, but the option is there to switch to php5. I want to switch ‘cos one of the applications I want to install will only use php5.

    My question is this: Will switching to php5 brake anything in WP-2.5.1?
    Has anyone actually done this?

    Switched before a couple of months right after an upgrade to WP 2.5.0 having ZERO problems.

    [edit]…but also having a dozen backups around, you know, just in case…[/edit]

    lots and lots of people are using wordpress on php5… it… just… works.

    Do keep an eye out for any of your obscure plugins. Anything coded by a monkey should work, but some humans aren’t quite that smart.
