swipe not working on iphone

using version 1.4.10 of lightbox plugin, swipe will not work on iphone. lightbox shows (with absolutely tiny arrows) and the arrows work to move the slideshow, but swiping only works on the first image, then won’t work anymore. Happens in all galleries. Any ideas?
