Subscribe Users to Comments

As the administrator of the site, I’m looking to have an email sent to all users when I post a comment to any post. I’ve searched through the existing plugins, and nothing seems to offer this functionality. I can offer the option for users to manually subscribe to certain posts (e.g. Subscribe to Comments Reloaded) and I’m able to manage and even modify the moderation emails that are sent regarding comments, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I’d like functionality similar to what’s offered by Subscribe2 for posts and pages, where an email is sent to users whenever a post is made to the website (as long as they’re properly subscribed, but the plugin allows me as the administrator to subscribe them).

There was a post in the support forum about this functionality (or something similar) (9 years ago?!?) that was subsequently closed and never addressed.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Is there any confusion about the functionality I’m looking for?
