    Hi.
I set up a WP MS network and created three sites (main, and two /SUBs)
I created all the content for one of the subs, and had it completed.
I then tried to map it to a different domain name (one that was already established and running an old site). I installed the MU mapping plugin, followed the instructions, and changed the URL in the admin sites settings. It didn’t work, so I went back and changed the URL back to the original /SUB that it was when I was working on it, and now the site is gone. When I type in the URL I am getting a 404 for that /SUB. I can type in the url with the /SUB/wp-admin and reach a dashboard, but when I test visit the the site from that dashboard, It visits the main site. Its like wordpress cannot find the database it originally associated with that /SUB.
I am looking to figure out what happened to the site, and how to reactivate it again. I can see in my FTP that the uploaded files are still in the ‘blogs.dir>3’ directory, but I don’t know what happened to the database or how to reconnect it.
I would hate to have to recreate the site again. PLEASE HELP!!! ANY insight would be greatly appreciated.
Could even be worth a paypal-ing if you can help get this fixed for me!

    UPDATE:
in settings for the site in question, I am still seeing the theme I used as ‘current theme’, plus all the extensions I had enabled for the theme (pagelines)
It looks like it knows what the site used to be, its just not displaying it anymore and reverting to the root URL. when I click visit site, it goes to the 404, then when I click back to the dashboard from the 404, the wp-admin url is for the root, not the subdirectory in question.
    this is all very confusing.
    PLEASE HELP!
