It took me a while but I think I finally figured out how to implement my first ever blob πŸ™‚ However I have a couple of questions that I have been unsuccessful in finding answers too. The first is in regards to categories: I have offered one Primary Category and Two Sub Categories but if you look at the following url they appear as if they are all primary categories and not a primary and 2 subs. Is there any way I can have my 2 sub categories (Chassis Set-Up & Tire Pressures) be indexed so it appears to be a sub category? i.e. if they were tabbed a bit from the primary cat then it would look like they were subs… 2)On the main page I only want to provide the readers with the main post (the one for The Set-Up) and not the other post that are from the sub categories. How can i go about doing this as well? thanks for all your help and hopefully I’ll figure out this content management stuff soon….heh The link is below to the blob:

  • For the categories, use wp_list_cats() and the hierarchical=1 parameter.

And you want to show just one post period on the homepage? Or just the main category?

On the main page…..the link above. I just want to display the single blog for the parent category. In this Particular case the parent cat is The Set-Up and the Blog for the parent Category is The Set-Up. However if you scroll down the page you will see it has also add the blogs on the home page for both Subcategories. I would like ti to show only blobs for Posted in The Set-Up and not Posted in The Set-Up, Posted in Tire Pressures, and Posted in Chassis Set-Up. Any ideas? Will look at the link you just sent as well. thanks for all the help πŸ™‚

I think I found a plug in that wrks with 2.0 Can somone have a look at my blog in their browser and let me know if they see anything wrong. Have tested it in ie and firefox. Below is the link to my blog and the plug in I used:
    Plug-In: http://www.semiologic.com/software/opt-in-front/
