styling the gallery background

hi,

just wondering if there is a safe way to alter the styling of the video gallery. All i want to do is make the background white (rather than i guess transparent as the default is? and add a few pixels of padding around the edges, I am just trying to style it to better match my theme.

Also, i seem to have alot of space between each video and its own title, so much so that its not clear which video the title refers to. can i change this too?

Can i do this?
