string posts together for like a top 10 list

i’m sure there’s already a great plug-in for this, or maybe a few great plug-ins, i’m just not sure how to properly phrase or search for what i’m looking for

basically, i’m looking for an easier way to connect a series of specific posts — stringing them together. for example, if i’m doing a few posts that together make the “top 10 best cities to live in”, i’d like an automatic way to tie each of the individual posts together into one cohesive story. so, when you come to the end of the post about city #7, i’d like a “next” link to city #6 AND a “back” link to city #8.

right now, i’m just manually entering the code in the HTML tab. it works, but its not always pretty. any recommendations to something better?
