Strange behavior on random pages
-
There are several random pages that are coming up very strangely. I’ve looked into it extensively and as far as I can tell it is random, there is nothing in common that I can see that would point to these pages looking the way they do. When I go into the admin > Edit Post page everything looks fine. The content is there, the images, author, everything is good. But when you go to the live page all that you see is the title, image(not the right size), and the date which is wrong. And for some reason the date is always either Sep 5, 2011 or Sep 11, 2011. And another thing, instead of using the single.php template, it’s using the index.php template. What’s up with that!
Here are a few examples of these pages:
http://singularcity.com/pursuing-your-passion/
http://singularcity.com/some-day-my-prince-will-come/
http://singularcity.com/some-like-it-raw/I’ve tried a bunch of things already. I’ve tried to deleted the page, recreate it with all the same content (and even tried with different content), gave it the same name and url and it comes up looking the same, only title and image. And here’s the best part. The first one, Pursuing Your Passion, I’ve deleted, sent to the trash, permanently deleted and you can see it still comes up. I discovered that, and maybe this will help, that if I give this same page a new slug it comes up fine. Here’s is Pursuing Your Passion with a different slug: http://singularcity.com/pursuing-your-passion-test/. This is the only way so far that I can get these pages to render correctly, but I would rather not do this but as a last resort if this can’t be resolved.
I hope someone can help because this is driving me and the site owner nuts! I just cannot figure this one out. Thank you for any help.
