still grid-view issue

Hi,
I can see all pictures of the media library in *list* view.
So they are existing and database is working fine.
BUT if I open the *grid* view only some items are visible.
What could be the reason not showing pictures in grid view, but as said in list view they are completely visible?

example rights:
var/www/exampledomain/htdocs/wp-content/uploads
pix01 www-data (33) 0644 showing in grid
pix02 www-data (33) 0644 not showing in grid

I did a reinstall of WP4.1.1. without any change in above mentioned behavior.
Andy suggestions which steps I should go?
