    Hello, please make [Feature] Status mapping feature introduced an option and not mandatory.

    We’ve updated the plugin to the newest version and had to roll back as this new feature is not compatible with a pre-order plugin we have.

    Right now when a customer pays for a pre-order item, the status of the order changed to Pre-Ordered. With this new feature this is no longer possible meaning we can’t update anymore.

    Make the [Feature] Status mapping feature as an option and not mandatory. The plugin works fine as it is right now…

    Could you please provide the plugin name ?

    Could you also provide a bit more context as we are not sure to understand fully: with this status mapping; an order is automatically completed ?

    Hello, the plugin is this: Pre-Orders for WooCommerce Pro from Bright Plugins

    What I meant is that when I updated your plugin, then all the orders went directy to “completed” status even though some are pre-ordered and the item is not even in stock. Then I tried to check you new mapping feature and nothing can be done regarding pre-orders. Once again, this should be an optional aspect of your plugin and not mandatory. We rely a lot on pre-orders and can’t update your plugin knowing this will create a mess.

    hi @ljshopch, can you reach out to PostFinance support to be able to have some proper follow-up ? As far as I am aware, they do not actively look at the forum.

    Hi @ljshopch, as this is a postfinance plugin, the support need to come from them. So indeed, I should have redirected directly you to them

    Hello again, we are having so many problems that we had to revert back from 3.3.12 to 3.3.4 (back when the status functionality was not implemented. This implementation is a mess and I wonder why this was implemented. Can you please let us know where we can contact Postfinance about this? I thought this was the right place to do it as it’s the support forum from the Plugin. If it’s not here, then please inform me where it is. Thank you.
