Static page option missing after installation

    Hi there,

    I’ve just installed WordPress but the option to make my home page static is missing from Settings > Reading.

    How do I solve this?

    Make sure that you have at least one published public page (not a draft or private page).

    The option won’t appear if you have no public pages.
