• I’m entirely new to WordPress and am doing my best to read documentation and figure things out, but I’ve run into confusion when trying to create a static front page. I created two pages, one called “Home Page” and one called “Newsworthy.” In the Settings->Reading options, I set the front page to “Home Page” and the posts to “Newsworthy.” “Home Page” is correctly displayed as the front page. But when I click the link for the “Newsworthy” page, I receive a “The page cannot be found” message in my browser. Two other details: The home page sidebar does show that I have one uncategorized post (the same error message is displayed when clicking this link) and the permalink for the “Newsworthy” page matches the permalink showed when I go to edit the page. Thanks for any help you can give me! The URL is http://www.pimpmypiano.com/ if you want to see.
