you can simply install WordPress through 1 click check software section on your hosting.. it will take some time 10-20 mins to complete all setup..
Ok, I did that yesterday. Installed the WordPress Application on my Go Daddy Hosting. So does that mean all is good? When I access my admin it is still coming up .com.
I don’t see a dashboard or wordpress.org like I have on wordpress.com
please give me your domain name.. i wish to see it…
What url did you use when you installed WordPress? And is the same url as your wordpress.com site?
Yes, used my url monogramsandmakeovers.com
You cannot use the same domain name on 2 sites simultaneously. You need to point monogramsandmakeovers.com to your new self-hosted site and then wait for up to 72 hours for the change to propagate fully.
How do I do that? Sorry, not the most technical person!
Who set up the domain forwarding for your wordpress.com site?
I did the domain mapping when I purchased the domain through GoDaddy.
Then you can point the domain back to your new WordPress install. GoDaddy should be able to assist you with this.
@monograms…
Did you try this link to access your WP files on your server?

@straitanswers: Please read the original post. The OP has a second, self-hosted, site.
Ok, I will call GoDaddy. Thank you for your help.
