squeeze page overlay

Hi,

I don’t know if i am even calling this the right thing, but i have a squeeze page for a pdf and i would like to have a “stop, are you sure you want to leave?” type message appear if people navigate from the page without buying.

does anyone know what that is called and how to do it?
