sqlite.so" extension Crash

Dear guys,
the website was running ok but after the PHP memory increase, the website expected 500 Server not found errors. Then, my webhost fixed it but I was not able to login as the site did not recongnize my password. then I contacted the host again and the 502 Payment Error showed up. When I directed this to my host, the below reply was sent:

The error with http://xxxxxx.com/wp-admin/ has occurred due to the incompatibility of "sqlite.so" extension with the new PHP version 5.4.42 . Kindly note that we had recently updated the PHP version in the server. The sqlite module is not enabled in the server due to its incompatibility in the new PHP version.

How to solve this?
