  • How did you make the backup? How and where did you import it? Same server? Different server? Different domain name?

i followed these settings : http://tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/backup/ when i made the backup. I saved it as a .sql. I now have 2 host my old one and new one, i’ve exported from old server and imported on a different server a vps .

Do you still have the same domain name? And have you switched your DNS listing to the new server and given it enough time to propagate?

Yes im still using the same domain, i’ve given it enough time, its been 4 days and i go a email saying it has succesfully propagated too.

If i use a old sql it works fine, its just the new one that is not displaying the add/edit body from admin panel, doing my head in 🙁

You could try reuploading your WP core files. It could be as simple as a missing or corrupt file.

Thats not the problem i know this because :

    I have made 2 databases :
    1 – contains old database
    2- contains new database

I’ve changed wp-config with the 1st database and everething works perfectly. I then changed database with the second and the posts add/edit dont load up ?, so if it were my files i would get same results for both ..

getting really annoyed been trying for hours on end to fix this :(. u have any other ideas?
