SQL error n° 145 – comments not working

    I am getting various error messages on my site http://www.petiteanglaise.com. After having successfully moderated comments a couple of hours ago, no new comments can now be left and a whole string of database error messages are generated. Looking in phpMyAdmin I see that the “comments” table is “in use” and variations on the error message below are generated.

    Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 145)

    I am waiting for a response from my host – ASmallOrange – but in the meantime, any ideas?

    That’s a disc error inside the mysql files which only ASO can fix I think …..

    Though you could try using phpmyadmin to ‘repair’ that table – it won’t harm to try.
