Split checkout process

    Hi.

    In germany we have restrict law for the layout of the checkout page and the way to buy a product online.

    The layout of the checkout page not confirm this laws.

    Is it possible to split the checkout to:

    1. Overview of the order (cart view)
    2. Insert bill and shipping infos
    3. select pay- and shipping method
    4. another overview with shipping details and costs and the pay button

    When not, can we make an other layout of the checkout page? I have play with this but without a real working page.

    The layout must be like this:

    Form for Billing- and shiopingadress
    ————–
    Cart
    ————–
    Shippingmethod
    Paymethod
    Checkbox ‘accept the contract’
    Pay Button

    Have anyone change the page layout like this?
