Specific Shipping Dates

Hi guys,

I am currently setting up a Woocommerce store for a client. A small business which has specific shipping requirements due to the nature of the products they deliver.

Currently they offer delivery to their customers on set days depending on where the customer is based.

They deliver to one area of the UK every second Tuesday.
They deliver to another area of the UK every second Wednesday.

Is this possible to setup on Woocommerce? Do I need a plugin? Are there any plugins that anybody knows of that can do this job?

Any help would be great. I have set up shipping zones which split the areas into two sections. But now I need to know if it is possible to sort the delivery dates.

I’m not aware of a plugin that will do this exactly. Hi Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me. I will look into this tutorial and see if it fits the bill.

Worst case scenario I have the plugin “Order Delivery Date for Woocommerce (Lite Version)” currently installed. It allows you to select dates that the store can’t deliver. I would have to go through and manually disable dates to fit the clients shipping schedule.

Just thought there would be a solution to do this without the manual adding of delivery dates.

Hi @winnard,

The Lite version of Order Delivery Date plugin doesn’t allow you to create location based settings. With the PRO version of the plugin, you are able to create delivery schedules based on different locations.

The PRO version works tightly with the inbuilt WooCommerce shipping zones. And for each shipping method of those zones, you can create custom delivery schedules.
