I’d also suggest you check out the wpDiscuz 7 beta version. It allows you to enable the Google ReCaptcha on Subscription Form: More info here: https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/google-recaptcha/#display-on-subscription-form

Hi,
My host has received quite a few spam alerts of some automated emails asking to confirm comment subscription (Ex: https://imgur.com/a/pMTNyGk). Is there any way to completely disable comment subscription? Looks like some spammers/bots are misusing this field.
