yes, because the feed to post puts the feeds items into a database and doesn’t get updated when the item updates since the items is identified by it’s URL, which doesn’t change when it gets updated.
Oh, ok! I would like to suggest you consider adding this feature in a future version! 😉

Hi, I am in need of this feature too and just wanted to add:
If it’s any help, I think FeedWordpress has this feature (updating blog posts if the source post has changed) so the plugin code may give some insights in to the method used.
I hope it can be implemented, it would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
