Some users Posts requiring moderation??

Hi stuio19,
wpForo 1.2.0 comes with Spam Control functions. Please install Akismet for more protection, it’s already ntegrated with wpForo Spam Control.

2 forum members/users both have same standard/contributor accounts as all others are having to have some of their messages moderated by Admin before they are visible.

Only new users topic and posts if suspected go for moderation. New user is based on minimum number of posts. You can manage it in Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Antspam admin page.

I checked their posts and there are no swear words/links etc so wondering why i have to keep approving them before they become visible?

Because the function which scans new topics and posts is not human (it just suspects not affirms) and the level of suspicion is high on your forum. Please read this support post to control the level of spam suspicion:
