Some Meta Not Copied

    Hey there,
    I use Duplicate Post a lot, and it usually works great. But sometimes custom meta fields don’t copy over with the post. I checked the settings, but still missing. Is there a way to include all meta when duplicating?

    Hi @braedenmayer, sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing!

    By default, all the meta are duplicate except some special ones (edit_lock, _edit_last, and some internal _dp* keys), while _wp_page_template and _thumbnail_id are controlled by specific options. All the rest should pass unless they are listed under Do not copy these fields or they are filtered out by some custom code or another plugin.

    To help you with that, we’d need more info:

    1. Which custom meta fields are missing after duplication? Can you provide some examples with their names and values?
    2. Are they from a specific plugin (e.g., ACF, a page builder)?
