Folks, this is a solution for the users of ‘My SMTP WP’+’Notify Users E-Mail’. I used these two plugins to configure the website. At the beginning it does not work. After discussed with the plugin authors, it works finally. Therefore, I am posting this solution for other people who maybe face the same problem.

    The steps are –
    1. configure ‘My SMTP WP’ plugin. Gmail is recommended. You can send a test email to test the configuration. Note that Gmail probably reports ‘Suspicious sign-in prevented’ (Gmail sends an email to you), we need to allow the plugin to use the SMTP service of gmail. Here is solution, https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6009563. Firstly, go to ‘Allow less secure apps’ and set enable; secondly, go to https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and click continue. Now it should be OK.
    2. Make sure the test email can be received using ‘My SMTP WP’ plugin.
    3. configure ‘Notify Users E-Mail’.
    4. It should works now.

    Hope this post helps.
