Social media plugins/widgets not working

Some time in the last few weeks all of my social media plugins and widgets vanished off my home page. When I check behind the scenes they are all still there and all the right boxes are ticked, but none of them are showing? My IT savvy is limited and code frightens me so please type slowly to me in your reply. 😉
