Hi, sorry for my late reaction on your quick response. I tested on Twenty Fifteen and the whole slider disappeared as well as the links.
Can you disable all your other plugins except this one and carry out another test?
Which options in the settings do you have enabled?
All plug-ins except slideshow and turn them on again by pairs.

What is your setting in Proportional relationship between slideshow’s width and height (width:height)?
10 minutes ago I found the solution. In the proportional relationship. I changed it to the right numbers and now it works perfectly on iPhone and iPad. Many thanks for you efforts.
I am happy to hear :). Just for curiosity could you share what your proportional settings are so that someone who runs into an issue similar to yours can apply your fix.
