I found that if I install the English version of WordPress, the slider works.
Is there anyway to make it work in Trad Chinese?
——–update
What I tried:
Install English WordPress>Post something>Slider works
>Install Chinese Language Pack>Change WP Language>Slider Works
>Delete the old post>Post something new in WP(Set into Chinese)> Slider doesn’t work
——–update
WP English UI>Post something with Chinese title>slider still working
//
WP zh_TW UI>Post something with Fully English content>Slider show nothing
——–update
Edited wp-config.php: WPLANG to default(English)>make all old post private>post something in English UI>Slider still not working
——–update
created a new category in English UI> post in English UI>set Slider show that category>Slider finally works
so: category or post created in Chinese UI won’t show in Slider

update: Chinese Category created in English UI also won’t show up in Slider
hmmm i couldn’t reproduce. i installed zh_TW language pack and activated it with WPLANG, then deleted old posts, then created new category with chinese name, then created new post with chinese title and chinese body text and gave it a featured image. In the BresponZive theme I set the newly created category to be the “Select a category(for slider)” choice.
Result was refresh the home page and the featured image from the new post does show up in the slider.
Could it be something about the 8.1 localhost and the linux server configuration? Or is there another step that is needed to reproduce this symptom, that I missed and so wasn’t able to reproduce?
