Thanks for responding. But do you know where exactly would I put this code in the theme.php file?
I meant theme’s php* file in the above post, not theme.php. Also, which php file would I put it in?
I put it in the header.php file, but it’s not going into where I want it to be. I’m trying to get it to be aligned along with the header image so that the header image is in the center and the slider is to the left of it.

None of the theme’s .php file seem to have those codes to help me locate where to put the slider’s code. I’ve sent an e-mail for further support.
