Slider for Header
-
Hi,
I’m trying to set up the slider to show up on the header. I want it to look like this site’s location of the text slider on the top left: http://www.reddressboutique.com/
Any clue on how to input the slider into that location?
Thanks

Hi @jillpan
You should put the slider’s shortcode to your theme’s php file. Here is a documentation to help: http://doc.smartslider3.com/article/150-publish-on-wordpress#php
Hi,
Thanks for responding. But do you know where exactly would I put this code in the theme.php file?
I meant theme’s php* file in the above post, not theme.php. Also, which php file would I put it in?
I put it in the header.php file, but it’s not going into where I want it to be. I’m trying to get it to be aligned along with the header image so that the header image is in the center and the slider is to the left of it.
Hi @jillpan !
Please send a link to your website, and we will tell you where it should be. If you would like to, you could rather write to us in here, the conversation is faster that way: support@nextendweb.com
This is the site: http://bloomingdresses.com/
I can’t seem to find the slider’s code in your site now, but I think you should put the slider’s code above the nav tag: http://imgur.com/xpNkTY8
If you would need further help on this for safety reasons I’d suggest to continue this discussion privately on support@nextendweb.com
Just please refer to this topic!None of the theme’s .php file seem to have those codes to help me locate where to put the slider’s code. I’ve sent an e-mail for further support.
