    Hi Brokawphoto

    You need create a ‘slider’ category under “Posts” -> “Categories” and then under “Appearance” -> “ALBAR Settings” -> “Slider Settings” enter the category ID into the “Slider Categories” section.

    It will then show all posts linked to that category.

    Set the featured image on those posts for them to show as the slider images.

    I’m not sure I understand how either, it seems a bit cumbersome. I went to categories and not sure what to put in the slug box…I originally thought the metaslider id went there? Then, I’m not sure where to find the category ID, all I see is count. I just need a static photo there on the front page.

    Ok, I’ve created a demo site and a page explaining exactly how to add slides to the slider.

    Hope this explains it clearly. please let me know if there’s anything you don’t understand.

    Hello,

    i have used the instructions as mentioned on the demo site but do have an issue with it.
    The category i added is called Slide Posts and the ID =2 , i added this to the settings of the Theme. Then posted new pictures with the Slide Posts category assigned.
    Result. The default slider is gone, and none of my new images is shown in the header.
    Any other hints. The site i am runinning/building is this one

    Looking forward to your feedback.

    Problem solved

    i installed Page Builder by SiteOrigin and Metaslider at the same time as i installed the theme. Removing the 2 solved the issue i had

    the ulitmate solutions was to set the images as Featured Images in your post. this did the trick .

    Yes, and the free version also does.

    Hi Kaira, ihave the same problem of kamjo01, I followed your instructions but the default slider disappears. I also removed Page Builder and Metaslider also i have set the images as Featured Images but I have not solved the problem. Can you help me please?
    (i have a premium version)
