    Hi all,

    I’m currently using the free version and is trying to create a website for my company.

    In regards to the slide show images and as well as portfolio images, are there any options to standardized the image size of the photos sp that all look the same size after I upload them to the slideshow functions? This is because I am downloading the images from my company folder and the images comes in different sizes and hence when I try to put a few of them in the slide shows, the images look weird and out of sync.

    Always best to crop/re-size them first before uploading so they’re exactly the same size.

    You can also use add_image_size and regenerate thumbnails

    Add the code for custom image size to a child theme not your parent theme.

    are there any recommended software or websites that I can use to re-size the images? I have alot of images especially for the “recent work” and intend to add in plugins to enable slide shows for the pages and stuff.

    As for child theme, I probably cannot do it yet as I’m not that familiar with wordpress or css to do a child theme (just started learning wordpress for like a few days so far) so are there any good websites to learn more about the child theme?

    1. You will need to search or ask on a graphic design forum, try Adobe forums.

    2. Child themes only require a style sheet with header and then you can add a blank functions.php file with an opening PHP tag.
