Sitemaps and indexing

    I was just thinking about what would make sense in terms of indexing and creating sitemaps.

    I came to the conclusion that only the post pages and the categories should be added to the sitemaps and exclude the archive and feed. Should I in addition exclude the archive and feed via the robots.txt?

    If you’re going that route with the sitemap, I would. Gotta admit though that I would keep the feed and the login pages out and leave the archive in though as it;s just additional links to your own articles.
