site title & tagline

My problem ; I have typed respectivally smart way voyager & Brazil, you´ll never travel alone in site title and tagline. Both are not displayed. However, in my custom header, I can see both. In the brasilian flag, I have written “smart way voyager” and that I can see on my site but not the 2 others. That would not be a big problem if I can make sure that in term of SEO both sentences are “readable” by the search engine. As well, I do not understand who is handling that.
1. WordPress or 2. The theme (Genesis). Is someone be able to explain?
As the newbie, should someone tells me to look at template, where do I find those template and how to change them ?
