    Hi I just tried to change my site title. It didn’t replace the new title with the old and now I have two title overlapping each other. I tried to delete the site title I entered and have saved the changes yet when I view my site it still shows both. How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated

    without seeing your site, just guessing:

    – your site title might have been in a haeder image?
    – your site title might have been hardcoded?
    – your browser is holding on the the state with two titles – press ‘reload’ on the browser; or press ‘ctrl’ and ‘f5’ simultanously.

    a link your site would help.

    It does look like the site title might be in the header image, not sure what you mean by hardcoded?
    I have pressed refresh in in my browser and Ctrl F5 however the second title is still there
    My site is http://www.exposedit.com .. any other ideas?
    Thanks for your help

    i only get one title – and it is an image:

    http://www.exposedit.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle/images/header.png

    there is no sign of any other title text in the html code of your site.

    so it seems to be an issue with your browser:
    i have no idea, why your browser is hanging on to old information –
    – try using a different browser;
    – try to clear the browser history (unless you need it for something);
    – reload your site again; just press the ‘reload’ button a few times;

    Hi
    I deleted the browser history and can no longer see the two titles … its back to just the one in the header.

    Thanks so much for your assistance you’ve been very helpful 🙂
