• Hi, I have a WP site that doesn’t respond properly when I make changes to it. I changed the social sharing plugin but the old one is still there, also I put banner code in the sidebar but the banner doesn’t show up.
Tried to add a new page but that doesn’t show up either.
Is there any way of resetting WP without losing all of your content?

Someone mentioned it could be something to do with the W3 Cache plugin, I had to delete this plugin in my cPanel because it wouldn’t even let me log in when it was activated.

  • Deactivate all your plugins, revert to Twenty Thirteen theme and see if you still have problems.

I deleted all the plugins and changed to 2013 theme. But then I put it back to the theme I want.

But now the site switches between the themes depending on which page its on.

    The site is screwed up.

Have you flushed the cache and deactivated that plugin? It’s very likely causing this kind of behavior.

Deativated that plugin but have not flushed the cache.

Tell me how to do it please.

I’m not sure how that plugin works, but there should be a setting for flushing or deleting whatever has been cached. If you can’t find it, ask on that plugin’s forum:

    BTW, what’s your site URL?
