• This seems to be nexgen plugin related. But after 24hrs of my site being down and no response on that support board…looking for help here.

My site has this error, no matter what page. Cant get into wp-admin except with this php file showing.
    http://www.WhatMusesMe.com

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/whatmuse/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.nextgen_shortcode_manager.php on line 127

I have gone to another one of my ‘working’ blogs and copied the code from that page and pasted into error blog/page. It still has the same error. HELP HELP HELP!

Can you just get rid of the plugin for now? Is that an option?

Yes, try renaming that plugin’s folder using FTP or Cpanel – do NOT delete it entirely or you’ll lose any galleries you have saved.

If I rename it, how do I get the uncorrupted file back in place?

I’m working on getting ftp log in info from host.

You could try downloading a new copy of the plugin and replacing that file – but given the many issues with NGG in recent weeks, that may or may not work. They’re really the ones who can best answer questions about the plugin – I know it’s frustrating when you don’t get answers, but you only posted there a day ago and they have lots of people who need help.
