• Hi,

I just ran a site audit and it showed that my site has 8 pages with broken Javascript. I included the link so you can check it and let me know how to fix this. Could this issue make my site not show on Google? Help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

No, JS errors as such won’t result in your site not being shown in Google, but they are something you would want to fix 🙂

Can you disable “aggregate JS” for starters and instead enable “don’t aggregate but defer JS” and “also defer inline JS” and test if you still have such errors?

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I will make those changes and run another audit and get back to you.

    Hello,

I flushed the cache again and ran another site audit without making the changes yet and the errors disappeared. Sorry about that! Do you think I should do them anyway?

if it works then I would not worry about it, but the settings as described above are the now the defaults for new installations so I do consider them to be the better choice 😉
