• Hi all

We have a multisite installation with different admins for each site. I, as a Super Admin for the whole network, can mess around with a text widget that contains both HTML and javascript. However, the site admin (who does not have Super Admin access) can’t. Whenever he adds the code to the text widget, parts of it are stripped out.

The code is Facebook’s standard code for adding a like button – it contains a tiny bit of styling and a script section.

Is this standard for multisite permissions? Only Super Admins can use this kind of code in text widgets?

This is standard for Multisite. Only Super Admins can use that kind of code.

I would suggest using a plugin to allow for the code instead, or a shortcode.
