• I am unable to get the single event page formatting to resemble the default shown here:

    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/?_highlight=em&_highlight=item&_highlight=meta/documentation/placeholders/#single-event-format

I had originally made some changes to remove bookings and replace it with an eventsnote placeholder (successfully), but now there’s a formatting issue where the time/date don’t line up and the location is compressed into the second row and first column of a 2×2 grid. When I inspect this in Chrome, removing an extraneous <p></p> element (that isn’t in the default or any custom html I’ve tried) in the em-item-meta-line em-event-location class fixes the problem, as does removing an extraneous <br> in the em-item-meta-line em-event-time em-event-meta-datetime class. I don’t see any way to stop those from appearing in the html, despite it not being in the code.

I tried resetting Events Manager just to undo anything that might have set this amiss, and I’ve tried it in another browser — still the same. I’d be grateful for any help you can provide.

FYI — may be OBE…I believe that by changing the <span> to a <div> I’ve resolved this issue. If you’d like me to revert an instance of this so you can look at it, I’m happy to, but otherwise, I think I’m good. I can leave this up in case anyone else has this issue. Thanks for everything that you do.
