Hi oh you must be using an old php version! Update to the newest (or atleast to 5.4) and you should be good 🙂
Well since there were more people who got this problem, I just released a new update that fixes this. So just update to 1.1.4 and it will hopefully work now!

Hi very sorry man. What you can do is delete the plugin manually and you’ll be able to log in again.
Do you have ftp to your site? In that case navigate to wp-content/plugins/ and delete the whole folder simple-wp-sitemap.

Wow. So much for wordpress plugins being easy and trouble free. lol Don’t even have a ftp program anymore, that’s why I chose to use wordpress so I didn’t have to hassle with ftp. I don’t even know if I have the info for the ports to use because I didn’t think I’d have to use a ftp with wordpress.
I apologize if I sound a bit rude. Don’t mean it that way. Just a good bit aggravating when something says it’s easy, fast, and secure and works with what I have all of a sudden becomes none of the above.

Well if ftp isn’t an option you can always check if your web hosting has some kind of “File manager” that you can use. Many have one available if you log in to your hosting companies control panel or so called “cpanel”.
Another option is to disable the plugin via database, in one of the links above there’s a guide how to do it.
But the absolute easiest thing you can do, if you’re able, is just updating your php version in your cpanel which also will solve the issue.

redneckdon: I went to my cPanel file manager and simply deleted the plugin as Webbjocke said.
It instantly fixed it. Then I added the 1.1.4 plugin.

I was too tired to deal with it last night. Checked awhile ago and everything seems back to normal without me doing anything. I apologize for my little rant. I got a lot of things going on and that was just one more thing added to a pile of aggravation. Thank you.
