Simple Tags plugin problem

    I’ve Simple Tags version 1.8 and wordpress 3.0.1
    I find Simple Tags hyperlinks all occurrences of a tag in post, completely ignoring the Min and Max settings. Is there a fix for this?

    Is there an alternative free plugin?
