Simple root move

I would like to keep my wordpress files in the subdirectory where they are presently located. BUT, I would like the blog to load when a user goes to my site http://www.bfmcmillen.com. Right now, the url of the site is http://bfmcmillen.com/virtuallee

Is there a way to simply move the index?

If there is – will the pagination of my present articles change?

I have already viewed the codex – but it talks about moving the ‘core’ files and moving to a new url – things that aren’t directly my case. (I think)
