Simple Lightbox stopped working on my sight when I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress … dashboard shows this plugin as “not tested” with version 5.0.3
Simple Lightbox does works for me if remember to set each new WP Gallery link setting!
The default in WP 5 changed to “none” and to use Lightbox the value must be changed to “Media File” for each new gallery.
I am unable to change the default setting using instructions to set via the dashboard Settings –> Options image-link value: it makes no difference if set to “file” or “Media File” nothing changes).
Hi @hectorruiz, it appears that cURL is not enabled and/or properly configured for your site. Please see SLB’s documentation for more information on cURL support.
@sstowell: That unfortunately appears to be a bug in WordPress’ new block editor, which they’ll hopefully resolve soon.
Keeping my fingers crossed re: being able to set the image link default value!!!
