Similar portfolio items carousel

Hi,

I use the free version of virtue theme(Version: 2.4.8). Is it possible to filter the “Similar portfolio items carousel”. I can only select “yes- Display Recent Projects”. I want to filter for categories. Is the filter a premium feature?

I checked this topics but they don’t help me…
